The Malta Rugby Football Union will be organising a 'tens tournament' over two days between Thursday and Saturday at St Aloysius.

The 'tens tournament' is slightly different from the normal XVs format since there will be more 'ball-in-hand' action that should make for more spectacle. Another first for this competition is the fact that it will be played on an artificial turf pitch.

The MRFU will be testing the feasibility of this new surface as an alternative to its usual grounds at Marsa when these are not available due to weather conditions.

The event is being sponsored by Black Bull Pub of Paceville. Kick-off times will be at 7.30 p.m.
