The song by the duo Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg came fourth in Saturday's finals of the Dutch equivalent of Malta's Song for Europe Festival.

The song penned by the duo was shortlisted from 500 entries to compete in the finals, which is taking the winner to the Eurovision contest. The song, titled Heatwave, was interpreted by the Dutch trio Ebonique.

Heatwave placed first in the Dutch semi-finals in February and received unanimous approval from the jury, scoring a total of 75 points.
