It was an historic evening yesterday for the Malta Racing Club after Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami officially inaugurated the new floodlighting system and a modernised entrance to the race track in Marsa. The ceremony preceded the first-ever racing programme held under artificial lights. The card comprised six trotting Condition Race finals and an international flat race. The main event was the A1 final, won by Rosalind AX.
