Annual hairdressing marathon

The eighth annual hairdressing marathon organised by the School of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy is this year being held at Studio 7, in Birkirkara between March 18-19.

The 36-hour marathon will be broadcast live on Channel 22.

The head of the school, Dorothy Meli, said yesterday that over the past eight years more than Lm90,000 were raised and passed on to 10 philanthropic organisations.

The beneficiaries this year will be the Eden Foundation and Oasi Foundation (Gozo).
