Section calls for youth committees
The executive of the General Workers Union's youth section has approved a resolution calling for the setting up of a number of committees whose task would be to reach Maltese and Gozitan youngsters at their place of work.
The union said the aim would be to ensure that complaints by workers were heard by those who could help them.
GWU Youths is also setting up a committee for student workers.
As part of the exercise, the section will be appointing a number of contact people at places of work.
