European Union membership would not make any difference to prisoners and their families in matters concerning criminal and/or penal justice, the organisation Mid-dlam ghad-dawl said.

It said it had a meeting with the Malta-EU Information Centre and it appeared that practically no substantial change would come about concerning prisoners.
