Adam Productions have issued another video production, Malta... fuq il-passi ta' Pawlu (Malta... in the footsteps of Paul), following the company's 2002 video release 'Heritage in Stone'.

The new 50-minute documentary in Maltese recounts Malta's Christian heritage as it developed after the Apostle Paul's stay on the islands after being shipwrecked here in AD 60. The shipwreck is recorded in the Bible.

The video contains impressive footage of local events, such as the Corpus Domini and Mnarja feasts at Rabat as well as titular feasts starting with that of St Paul's Shipwreck in Valletta.

Local traditions handed down over the ages as well as the extraordinary devotion towards the apostle by the Knights of St John are visually illustrated.

Also featured is a multitude of little known facts about the Apostle's stay in Malta.

The executive producer for the documentary, Kate Bonello Sullivan, has put together a team of experts for the production. The script was researched and written by one of Malta's foremost experts in the subject, Tony Terribile, and video is presented by one of Malta's most popular actors, Manuel Cauchi.

The original music soundtrack was composed to picture by Adam Bonello, who is presently resident in New Zealand.

The video is produced and directed by Michael Bonello. It is intended to be a visual contribution to Melitensia and should be popular not only locally but also with Maltese emigrants abroad.
