The Maltese Diabetes Association is to give two talks on diabetes.

Marisa Tabone will speak on 'My experience as a diabetic' on Friday at 6.15 p.m. at the association's headquarters in the British Legion Centre, 111, Melita Street, Valletta.

This talk is particularly suitable for patients with Type 1 Diabetes and their parents, the association said.

Opthalmic surgeon Mario Tabone will be giving a talk on 'The Diabetic Eye' on February 27 at 6.15 p.m., also at the British Legion. This talk is suitable for patients with diabetes, particularly those with Type 2 Diabetes.

Entrance is free for both talks.
