Following the success Hyundai achieved last year with the Prime, the Matrix, the new Coupé and the Getz, Hyundai started off this year with another bang - the innovative Hyundai Accent Diesel which was launched locally at Meridian Enterprises in Valley Road, Msida, on Thursday.
Addressing those present Mr Ryan Buttigieg, marketing executive, said that Hyundai has become synonymous with "good quality, durable cars that have become better looking as design and technological innovations outshines."
The new Hyundai diesel is equipped with a 1.5-litre common rail, three cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 60KW at 4,000 rpm.
Features include power steering, electric windows, central locking and driver's airbag.
Some refined restyling has introduced a new element of dignity and understated elegance. "Other than the stunning visible one", Mr Buttigieg said, the new Accent offers increased interior space for greater driver and passenger comfort, new safety features and superb fuel consumption.
The Hyundai Diesel's starting price is Lm5,750 with a three-year warranty.
