The Malta FA yesterday announced that the two Division One matches this morning at the Victor Tedesco Stadium were postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Ground Management has already informed the association that the pitch at Hamrun was not in a condition to host today's two-match programme after the heavy rains which fell yesterday.

Leaders Msida St Joseph were due to meet Senglea Athletic while St Patrick had to play Gozo FC.

It was not officially announced when these matches will now be played. The early indications were that these will be held on Tuesday at the Centenary Stadium.

However, if today's Premier League matches at the Hibs Ground are also called off, then the Division One programme will be held on Wednesday and the matches from the top flight on Tuesday.
