Presentation of teachers' warrants

A total of 277 teachers were yesterday presented with their warrants by Education Minister Louis Galea, during a ceremony at the InterContinental Hotel. Addressing them, he stressed the importance of continuing education, noting that between July and September last year, a total of 77 courses were organised for 2,430 teachers. "It would be a good thing if new teachers gave their own contribution to the updating of schools, by introducing new ideas and methods," he said.
