AD priorities for San Gwann

One of the major problems in San Gwann was the state of public transport in the area, Alternattiva Demokratika spokesman Jurgen Balzan said.

Speaking at a press conference during which AD presented its proposals for San Gwann ahead of the local election there, he said that another priority for AD is the protection of the valleys found in San Gwann.

"In the council, we will work for the rehabilitation and protection of Wied Ghomor and Wied Ghollieqa. These are the last two 'lungs' of a densely populated area. Therefore in the local council we will oppose any construction in these areas."

The press conference was part of AD's local elections campaign.
