Where's Everbody? directors, Peppi Azzopardi and Lou Bondì often do their best during their programmes on PBS concerning the EU memberhsip issue to depict Labour's policy of partnership with the EU as something they cannot understand.

Now if there is anybody in Malta who knows precisely what "Partnership" is, they are none other than Lou and Peppi! Why? Because when they had decided to team together and sell their services to PBS and any other company or organisation, they decided to set up a "civil partnership" - as it was described in court during their case against Cospicua local council. They did not opt to form a company.

Both of them being intelligent people, they must have realised that if they opted for a "company", they would have been tied down with the burdens and strict rules which regulate company business. But in their "civil partnership", they would have far more flexibility to do business and they would thus be even more competitive in their sector.

With membership of the EU, Malta would also be tied down with strict regulations which will harm our competitiveness.

This is why I appeal to readers to take Peppi and Lou's advice, and choose partnership for our country as well!
