Alternattiva Demokratika yesterday called for the conservation of a building which complements villas of considerable heritage value in the area known as ir-Rampa ta' San Giljan, in St Julian's. It called on the Malta Environment and Planning Authority to refuse an application for the development of eight storeys of apartments, garages and a penthouse in place of this building, scheduled as a grade three property, with the neighbouring villas scheduled as grade two properties.
