I refer to Eddie Privitera's letter "PM's performance" (January 29).

I think that Mr Privitera ought to get hold of a recording of his performance on Xarabank, so as to get his facts right, before voicing his criticisms of the prime minister.

I myself was watching Mr Azzopardi's programme and indeed I must say, using Mr Privitera's own words, that the "miserable sight" was not the prime minister but Mr Privitera himself, who let his bad manners get the better of him! With his constant interruptions he would not even allow Dr Fenech Adami comment or explain his issues.

I would like to point out to Mr Privitera that his historical information regarding what our past political leaders have said was quite useless since we are all capable of reading quotes from books available to everyone, and they certainly did not substantiate his defeated argument, which till today I cannot figure out. This was probably due to the time he wasted on air with his frequent attempts to hit out at the prime minister rather than making his point!

Furthermore, I would like to point out to Mr Privitera that he really does not know Dr Fenech Adami, in the sense that it really would not take so little to shock or intimidate him. In fact, unlike what Mr Privitera is claiming, I think the prime minister looked rather perplexed, if at all, on seeing such bad manners!
