Charity concert at the Manoel

Michael Laus will be in the limelight at a charity concert being organised jointly by the Manoel Theatre and the National Orchestra. The maestro will perform as pianist and conductor simultaneously.

The concert will take place at the Manoel on Friday, February 21.

Proceeds from the concert, on the initiative of the Lions Club Mdina and sponsored by Malta International Airport, will go towards Dar tal-Providenza.

In the first half, Mro Laus will be playing the piano part of, and conducting, Mozart's "Concert Rondo in A for Piano and Orchestra" and his "Piano Concerto in C Major K 467".

In the second half he will conduct Beethoven's "Symphony no. 6 in F Major Op. 16 - Pastorale".
