A Qormi man was yesterday charged with defrauding a couple of Lm1,350.

Anthony Cassar, 50, pleaded not guity to defrauding Anthony and Antonia Debono around February 6 or misappropriating the money.

Police Inspector Bernard Zarb prosecuted.

Dr José Herrera appeared for the defendant while Dr Jason Azzopardi is representing the Debonos.
