The next concert in "Windows on Music" - the monthly series of concerts organised by the Music Department in the Mediterranean Institute of the University of Malta and the Manoel Theatre - will be held at the MITP in St Christopher Street, Valletta on Thursday at 7.30 p.m.

The programme includes Charles Camilleri's "Three Popular Maltese Songs" sung by soprano Marita Bezzina, accompanied at the piano by Eric Azzopardi, followed by Andrè Paul Huber on the flute, accompanied at the piano by Lydia Ellul Buttigieg in a performance of Donjon's "Pan", Honegger's "Romance", and Gagnebin's "March of the Jolly Fellows".

"Untitled: A Fusion of Sounds and Images", in which music provided by Gergely Nemeth on the piano and Gabor Gyorgyfi on the guitar will be fusing with a series of video projections in the hands of Toni Attard and Fabrizio Cali', will follow. "Two Tangos" from Piazzolla's "Histoire du Tango" will be performed by Fiorella Camilleri on the flute and Evan Plumpton on the guitar. The concert will end with Maria Blanco on prepared piano playing "Bacchanale" by John Cage, in collaboration with members of the Contact Dance Company Giselle Calleja, Sandra Mifsud and Melanie Camilleri to choreography by Francesca Abela Tranter.
