Peace Movement founded
A new Peace Movement was launched yesterday as an offshoot of the Front Maltin Inqumu, headed by former Prime Minister Dom Mintoff.
The movement was officially launched during a public meeting of the lobby group at Paola. The members include Graffitti, No2EU and the hunters' federation.
Both Mr Mintoff and spokesman Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici asked why the Labour Party had not responded to the front's call to join forces in their cause against the way the negotiations with the EU had been conducted.
