The government has invested Lm500,000 in the arts and design institute of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology.

Education Minister Louis Galea said during a visit to the complex at Targa Gap that works included the construction of a new sub-station and the upgrading of the grounds around the institute, which provides courses in two levels of arts and design studies and will soon be offering courses in design crafts.
