New vice-chairman at Farsons

Vincent Curmi has been appointed vice-chairman of Simonds Farsons Cisk with effect from Saturday.

Mr Curmi has been a director of the company since 1979, representing the interests of Scicluna's Estates Ltd, and has served on the boards of a number of subsidiary companies within the Farsons Group. He is also currently chairman of Trident Properties Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Farsons.

Mr Curmi succeeds Anthony Galdes, who is resigning from the position of vice-chairman with effect from the same date but retaining his directorship. Mr Galdes will continue giving technical assistance to the board.

The company nominated the senior director, Luke Miceli, as the Farsons Foundation's chairman, following the demise of Chev. Anthony Miceli Farrugia.
