Award-winning chefs

The team of chefs from the Hotel Fortina Spa Resort, led by executive chef Peter Psaila, scooped a number of top honours in the recent Open Cookery Championships organised by the Malta Culinary Association.

Other chefs in the team were Ivan Mizzi, Andrew Borg and Daniel Debattista.

The team won six gold awards, including Chef of the Year and Junior Chef of the Year, as well as a silver and a bronze award.

Following their success they were asked to represent Malta in future international competitions.
