ChernoMore invite Bogdanovic for contract talks
Daniel Bogdanovic, the 22-year-old Valletta striker, will fly out to Bulgaria early next week to negotiate a transfer to Division One club ChernoMore.
ChernoMore, sixth in the league, have invited the Malta international striker for talks over a contract after Bogdanovic left a good impression on their coaching staff during a three-day trial earlier this week.
Having publicly expressed his confidence of securing a deal with ChernoMore after a successful trial, Bogdanovic yesterday confirmed that the Bulgarian club have offered him a contract.
"I'm going back to Varna early next week to discuss matters with ChernoMore," Bogdanovic said.
"All I can say at this stage is that they are interested and have invited me for negotiations but I don't have any more details."
Bogdanovic will be at the disposal of Valletta coach Dennis Fenech for today's Premier League match against Marsaxlokk which may well turn out to be his last appearance for the Citizens if he completes the move to ChernoMore.
ChernoMore have already requested Bogdanovic's international clearance from the Malta FA, a move which attests to their bold interest in the Malta international striker.
Although the former Sliema Wanderers and Naxxar Lions striker is keen to play abroad, he says he will scrutinise ChernoMore's offer before making a decision.
"If I have to leave Valletta, the offer from ChernoMore has to be very good," he said.
