The Malta Aikido Federation will be holding its first International Stage in Malta between February 15 and 16, involving athletes from Egypt, Libya, Turkey, Italy and Malta. The event is the culmination of years of work by the Mediterranean Aikido Federation, created to promote Traditional Aikido in the region. The MAF presidency is currently in the hands of the Italian federation. The general secretary duties are carried by Dr Mohab Fahmi, chief instructor at the Malta Aikido Federation.
