Sporting Brief...

Friendly: FC Utrecht, currently in Malta for a training camp, yesterday played a friendly against Hibernians at Corradino. The Dutch side beat the Paolites 3-0 with their goals coming from Dave van den Berg (2) and Alji Schut. FC Utrecht will now play another friendly tomorrow when they take on Premier League leaders Sliema at the same venue. The match starts at 6 p.m.
