Two Church schools have informed the government that they are prepared to accept a number of children of illegal immigrants, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg told parliament yesterday.

"This is a positive development which I hope will be emulated by other Church schools and by private schools," the minister said.

He was replying to questions on illegal immigrants by Nationalist MP Dolores Cristina.
