A Zabbar woman was yesterday conditionally discharged for 18 months for assaulting and slightly injuring a radiographer at St Luke's Hospital two months ago.

Lilyann Bonello, 32, pleaded guilty to assaulting and injuring Annabelle Bartolo at the hospital on November 12, 2002, at noon.

She also admitted assaulting Bartolo when she was on duty, breaching the peace and uttering obscene words in public.

Police Inspector Mario Bonello prosecuted.
