Alternattiva Demokratika said the Maltese government should declare that British warships passing through the Mediterranean en route to the Gulf would not be berthing in or passing through Maltese waters.

"Through such a declaration Malta would immediately be living up to what was obtained in EU negotiations as regards neutrality," AD international secretary Ralph Cassar said.
