Tony Drago qualified for the first round of the European Open yesterday in Blackpool thanks to a 5-2 win over Scotland's Marcus Campbell, hitting a top break of 87. Drago now meets Graeme Dott in the last 32 stage of the tournament on March 11.

The Malta professional will again be in action on Friday in the last qualifying round of the Irish Masters which start on March 25.
