Computer system donation

Bank of Valletta has donated a computer system to the Institute of Financial Services, to help it implement a number of projects it is currently working on.

The institute's three-year programme includes offering new educational solutions such as the Maltese module of the Certificate for Financial Advisors.

IFS president Charles Borg said IFS-Malta had started discussions with the Mediterranean Insurance Training Centre about the possibility of merging the educational functions of the two bodies.

It is also working closely with the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners to hold a series of training seminars on the new updates of financial legislation that were recently enacted.
