Can somebody from maltaNET explain why it secretly imposed a limit on Peer-to-Peer (P2P) connections?

Why is ADSL service still being advertised as unlimited when it is not truly unlimited? There is a limit on P2P connections between 7 a.m. and 1 a.m. each day.

This was admitted unofficially by various employees of the company, when faced with proof, but consumers were never informed.

This means that if, for example, one maltaNET ADSL customer wants to send a file to another maltaNET ADSL customer, the speed is limited to an average of 15.5k, while being advertised at 128k upload and 512k download.

And this is apart from when sending a file to a person in another country!

We are subscribed to the most expensive ADSL service on the basis that it is unlimited. This amounts to false advertising.
