The Island Kart Club recently held a presentation ceremony during which trophies to the three class champions of the season were awarded. Attending the presentation was Minister for Resources and Infrastructure Francis Zammit Dimech, who urged the club to continue with its endeavours now that land was provided for them at Hal Far to have their own track and premises. The Malta Drag Racing Association, another motoring organisation, is also based at Hal Far.
