Education Minister Louis Galea said a site had been identified for a new primary school in the Pembroke area.

Speaking during a visit to the site yesterday with the parliamentary secretary for Home Affairs and Environment, George Pullicino, Dr Galea said that Pembroke was expanding at a rapid rate and a school was required to accommodate 750 boys and girls attending kindergarten up to Year 6.

The new Pembroke primary school will be the first primary school to be completely built by the Foundation for Tomorrow's Schools.
