Helping enterprise
A future Labour government would give a boost to enterprise and the self-employed, Labour leader Alfred Sant told self-employed persons at a meeting in Gzira.
Dr Sant said a government led by him would assist the self-employed to take the necessary initiatives to improve their situation and to put the economy back on its feet.
A Labour government would draw up a five-year plan to list the priorities for spending.
Dr Sant said that when the MLP came to take its decision on VAT, it would keep in mind the protection of workers.
