Painting exhibition

A painting exhibition featuring works by Maltese artist William Borg will be inaugurated at Bay Street's Artisan Market tomorrow. The exhibition, which includes various still-life paintings, will be open up to Sunday.

Born in 1928, Borg attended the School of Art, in Valletta between 1946 and 1951.

Since then he has taken part in numerous collective art exhibitions, including the Malta Trade Fair in 1971, the Maltese Contemporary Artists exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce in 1987 and the Contemporary Sacred Art exhibitions at the Cathedral Museum in Mdina in 1994 and 1996.
