Twenty-three scouts and leaders from the Sliema Scout Group are attending the World Scout Jamboree in Thailand.

The scouts are taking part in activities aimed at bringing the various cultures closer together, made all the more interesting by the strong contingent from Southeast Asia. The last jamboree, held four years ago, was held in Chile.

Around 30,000 people are attending the current edition of the jamboree, which ends tomorrow.
