Buying fish

Soon I will have to decide how to vote on the European Union. I feel like I am buying fish at the market.

Eddie Fenech Adami is selling a few days' old fish while Alfred Sant is selling fish that are still in the sea. Dr Sant's fish are theoretically better but they are still in the sea.

The question is, which fish should I buy?
