¤ A concelebrated Mass, with the participation of the Laudate Pueri choir and the Santa Cecilia choir of Torre del Greco, Italy, will be led by Mgr Joseph Farrugia at St George's Basilica in Victoria, today at 9 a.m. During the Mass, Mgr Farrugia will announce the programme for the special festivities in honour of St George, who was martyred 1,700 years ago.

¤ The annual fund-raising lunch, organised by the Friends of the Sick and Elderly, is being held at Zafiro Restaurant, Xlendi, today at noon. Tickets, at Lm5.25, can be obtained from Antoinette Frendo (tel: 2155-1849) or Victorine Mizzi (2155-1059).
