Prof. William Buchanan is giving a public talk on libraries and young adult literature, aimed at practising librarians, authors writing for young persons, and the public, in the Francis Ebejer Hall (LT 2) at the university on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Prof.

Prof. William Buchanan is giving a public talk on libraries and young adult literature, aimed at practising librarians, authors writing for young persons, and the public, in the Francis Ebejer Hall (LT 2) at the university on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Prof. Buchanan is Associate Professor in the Department of Library Science at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

He has been invited by the University of Malta's Division of Library and Information Studies to give this extra curricular lecture during his sabbatical, part of which he is spending in Malta.

During this time he is working on a book regarding the experiences of Maltese children during the Second World War. Anyone who can provide information or experiences, including personal experiences, in this regard is invited to contact him by email on buchanan@clarion.edu.
