Obituaries

CASOLANI. On December 28, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, THERESA, aged 71, passed away peacefully after a short illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her mother Lilian née Briffa, her sister Ann, her sister-in-law Clodagh, her nieces Catherine Casolani and Marcelle Young and other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Julian's parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Addolorata Cemetery, entrance top gate.
The family wishes to extend a very special Thank You to all those who gave support and care to Theresa in the last few weeks of her life, including her carers from Casa Arkati, the staff of the Malta Hospice Movement, the MMDNA, the Malta Social Care Services, her GP Dr John Gauci, the medical consultants and nursing staff at St Luke's and Boffa hospitals, her neighbours and close family and friends.
No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

CORDINA - Joseph, of Msida, aged 80, passed peacefully away yesterday at St Luke's Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his children Peter, director of the Civil Protection Department, and his wife Matilda Balzan, Dr Michael Cordina and his wife Mary, Marthese and her husband John Xuereb, and Anna and her husband Raymond Grech, his brothers and sister and their families, and his wife's brothers and sisters and their families, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GRASSO. On December 29, at St Luke's Hospital, LOUIS ANTHONY, aged 72, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Gladys, neé Soler, his father-in-law Magistrate Dr Joseph Soler, his brothers and sisters, Fr Walter, Albert and his wife Maria, Edward and his wife Lucy of Australia, Helen wife of Joseph Bartolo, Edwige, his sister-in-law Lilian Starrett, widow of his brother Joseph, also of Australia, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P
