An agreement has been reached between two bands in Kalkara as a result of which the Curia will allow the feast to be held there in 2003.

The Curia said in a statement that following the July 2001 feast, it had informed the Ghaqda Muzikali San Guzepp and the Ghaqda Muzikali Sagra Familja that things had to change. This year's feast was not held and the two bands were given until this Christmas to come up with an acceptable plan for their participation in the feast.

Following talks between the bands and the parish priest, a plan was drawn up which was subsequently approved by the Curia.
