¤ Mass in English is being held at the Sacred Heart Seminary, Enrico Mizzi Street, Victoria, today at 9.30 a.m., on Tuesday at 11.30 p.m., and on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

¤ A Christmas tombola party is being held at Villa Fiorita, Marsalforn, today at 3.30 p.m.

¤ The Time Machine is being shown at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

¤ Bishop Nikol Cauchi will perform solemn vespers at the Cathedral, on Tuesday, Christmas Eve, at 5.30 p.m., and celebrate Midnight Mass.

On Christmas Day, Bishop Cauchi will lead Pontifical concelebrated Mass at the Cathedral at 9 a.m., which will be aired on RTK Radio. He will also lead a concelebrated Mass at St George's Basilica at 11 a.m.

¤ A procession with the statue of Baby Jesus will be held through the streets of Xlendi on Tuesday at 8 p.m., followed by a Nativity Play performed by children (script by Bishop Cauchi) and carol singing, at the church at 8.45 p.m.

Christmas Mass will be held at 9.45 p.m., with the traditional child's sermon delivered by Marlon Galea, one of four altar servers. On Christmas Day, Mass will be said at 10 a.m.

A Christmas lunch is also being organised by the church at St Patrick's Hotel, on Saturday at 12.30 p.m. Tickets, at Lm5.50, may be obtained from the church's office on 2155-4611. This will be followed by a film of past pageants at the church at 6 p.m.

¤ Christmas functions at Ta' Pinu Sanctuary, start on Tuesday with Midnight Mass. The traditional boy's sermon will be given by Christian Mifsud. Mass will be led by the Sanctuary's rector, Fr Michael Galea.

¤ The 23rd Christmas Choir Festival is being organised by the Secretariat for Education and Culture of the Gozo Diocese at Zebbug parish church on Thursday at 6.30 p.m.

¤ A buffet dinner is being organised by Ghajnsielem Football Club on Friday at 8 p.m. Booking can be made at the club, Serafina Store, Ideal Store or Manchester Bar.

¤ History of Malta - Abridged, Part 1, staged by the Helping Hands Group, followed by a Christmas concert organised by the Gozo Youth Wind Band and Orchestra, will be held at Don Bosco Oratory, on Saturday at 7.30 p.m.

¤ The Gozo Sailing Club is organising its annual Christmas party at the Circolo Gozitano, Victoria, on Saturday at 8 p.m. Proceeds will go towards buying new sailing equipment. Tickets can be obtained from committee members.

¤ The 24th Xaghra Song Festival, organised by the Victory Band Club in collaboration with the local council, is being held at the band club hall on Sunday at 6 p.m. There will be 28 participants, including Renato and Norma Camilleri. Tickets can be obtained from the band club, from Thursday at 6 p.m.
