In its efforts to ensure that all Dhalia property consultants are properly trained and informed about the company's customer handling procedures, policies, and ethics, Dhalia Real Estate recently hosted a one-week induction course for seven new property consultants who have recently joined the organisation.
The latest intake of employees now brings the Dhalia Real Estate staff complement to over 100.
The objective of these training courses is to help these new recruits acquaint themselves with Dhalia's commitment to provide customers with an excellent consultancy service, in respect of sale and purchase of properties.
Apart from customer handling procedures, the induction course covered various other topics including property financing, the implications of a promise of sale, ground-rents and the procedures involved in the purchase of property by foreigners.
Speaking about human resources training within the Dhalia Group, Andrew Gatt, operations director, said: "Training is an on-going process at Dhalia, in fact, the company's human resources department, headed by Rebecca Debono, regularly co-ordinates seminars for new recruits, its managers and experienced property negotiators that are held at its training centre in Mriehel.
"Some courses are conducted by architects, lawyers, officials from MEPA, the leading banks, as well as other experts involved in the property market."
Dhalia has nine offices throughout Malta and Gozo, as well as a network of partner agencies in the UK.
