HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. has donated Lm10,000 to the HSBC Cares For Children Fund.

The Christmas donation will help the fund to continue in its work in supporting education, recreation and rehabilitation programmes for underprivileged children and for schools in economically deprived areas in Malta and Gozo.

HSBC has so far contributed more than Lm130,000 to the fund. Apart from financial assistance, the HSBC Cares For Children Fund also supports underprivileged children through volunteer work carried out by HSBC staff.

More than 7,000 hours of work have, in fact, been voluntarily given by HSBC employees to the HSBC Cares For Children Fund.
