The funeral leaves Capua Hospital today at 8.45 a.m. for Jesus of Nazareth church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement will be appreciated.

PARNIS. On December 15, at the Carmelite Convent in Fleur-de-Lys, Fr Anthony Parnis, OC, aged 54, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss the Carmelite Community, his brothers and sisters Sr Generosa, Sister of the Sacred Heart, Mary and her husband Charles Decelis, Carmen and her husband Anthony Sciberras and Godwin and his wife Katy; Sperance and her husband Paul Portelli, Raymond and his wife Vivian, Grace and her husband Martin Bonnici and Louis and his wife Lina, all of Australia, Mary widow of his brother Alfred and Lina widow of his brother Joe, nephews and nieces, his uncles and aunts, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m for Fleur-de-Lys parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment in the Carmelite Community grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
Lord grant him eternal rest.
