The Malta Labour Party has protested with Public Broadcasting Services chief executive Andrew Psaila after PBS refused a request by the MLP to fully broadcast the Opposition Leader's press conference on the outcome of negotiations with the EU, live on PBS television.

The MLP said in a letter to Mr Psaila that the request was made after the live PBS broadcast of the press conference by Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami at Malta International Airport.

In a statement the MLP said the PBS decision continued to confirm how PBS was an instrument of propaganda in the hands of the government.
