Tunisian woman forges passport
A Tunisian woman was yesterday given a two-year jail term suspended for four years for forging a passport.
Souad Bent Mohamed M'Hamdi, 28, pleaded guilty to three counts of forgery including the forgery of a passport and a government stamp.
Magistrate Saviour Demicoli noted that she had cooperated fully with police, filed a guilty plea at an early stage of the proceedings and had a clean criminal record.
Police Inspector Sandro Zarb prosecuted.
Dr Leo Bencini appeared for the defendant.
