MP drops complaint against Super One

A Nationalist MP yesterday dropped his complaint on a violation of property charge against a Super One journalist and cameraman.

Nationalist MP Michael Bonnici had requested the police to take action against Duncan Callus and Gordon Sacco for filming him in his doorway after they rang the bell and he came out to find a picture of a hippopotamus against his door in May last year.

But the two yesterday apologised and promised they would not air the clip filmed despite the MP's repeated requests to them to leave his property.

Dr Jason Azzopardi was counsel to the MP while Dr Joseph Brincat appeared for the defendants.
