Industrial dispute registered

The Union Haddiema Maghqudin yesterday registered an industrial dispute with the Malta Transport Authority (ADT) because the union says the authority continues to assess the performance of enforcement officers on the number of reports they issue each month.

The UHM said ADT had continued to issue disciplinary charges to enforcement officers if they did not produce a certain number of reports.

The union said it was not acceptable for enforcement officers to be expected to issue fines for crimes that were not committed.
