Bank branches to cater for the disabled

HSBC is in the process of implementing a wide-ranging agreement with the National Commission for Persons with Disability that would pay particular attention to the needs of disabled customers, HSBC's training and development manager Mike Sinnett said.

"HSBC has always been committed to offering disabled customers the best possible service and the branch refurbishment programme has paid particular attention to the needs of disabled customers," he said during the closing session of one in a series of disability awareness workshops organised by HSBC.

HSBC has so far organised 17 such workshops for its employees this year.
